Gennaro Colangelo was born 2 September 1932 in Vasto Italy.
He migrated to Western Australia in 1952 on the ship Roma and began to work in Perth.
In due course he went also to work in Darwin and Alice Springs where he worked in the building industry.
While in the NT he also worked in Papunya Aboriginal Mission and he recounts some of his experiences there.
He decided to return to Vasto and has lived there permanently.
