Ernesto Saraceni was born in Vasto
(Chieti Abruzzo Italy) 2 July 1914.
He migrated to Australia arriving in Fremantle 28 May 1958 on the ship Napoli to join his older brother.
He learnt the trade of concrete sculpting in Vasto. In Australia he became a bricklayer and worked in the building industry.
After a settling period in Australia he married by proxy Ida Torricella and they have two daughters Maria Grazia and Patrizia.
