Elisabetta Tana (nee Celenza)
Elisabetta was born in Vasto (Chieti Abruzzo Italy) 15 September 1926. Her husband Vincenzo had migrated to Australia arriving in September 1952. He was sponsored by his brother Luigi.
She joined her husband with her two children Filippo (born 1948) and Nicola (born 1951) arriving on 14 April 1953 on the ship Surriento.
They first went to live in Oakleigh Rd Balcatta where they ran a market garden. They subsequently moved to Zanthi Road in Belmont, and finally to Hargrave Road in Balcatta.
Vincenzo died 24 November 1998 and is buried in Karrakatta cemetery.
